All the News that's ....

The Gore speech got great coverage in the press, didn't it? The only place I found it in today's NY Times was at the very end of an otherwise unrelated article on law suits against the administration on page 14 of the paper. Three short paragraphs that captured very little of the flavor of the speech.

One thing Gore said that might take hold had to do with the telecoms. He accused them of voluntarily acquiescing in a crime by helping the NSA illegally spy on Americans. Sounds to me like a potential class action suit against them. Any takers? That would certainly make them think twice about participating in further NSA spying activities.
