Immediate aftermath of the speechlet

From my limited sampling of the press coverage immediately following the Prez's little speechlet, this is not going well for the White House. The correspondents are making it very clear that these new accusations have not been denied, that they are very different and in many ways more intrusive than the earlier NSA spying accusations because they relate to the domestic calls of all Americans. And, the Dems in Congress sound as though they are beginning to speak out about this.

Well see...

Update: Just one more observation about the press coverage in the immediate aftermath. One CNN correspondent asked, "If they're not trolling or data mining with the data, then why are they keeping it?" Exactly.
