Cease fire?

I have an uncomfortable feeling that the cease fire in Lebanon is not going to take place. With Israeli troops pouring over the border, I rather doubt the Hizbullah will stop firing at them -- nor do I think the Israelis will stop trying to take out Hizbullah positions.

Some argue that this last minute push by Israel is simply a way for Olmert to save face, but once the Israeli troops are ensconced deep in Lebanese territory, I suspect the temptation for both sides to take pot shots at each other will be difficult to resist.

I guess we'll know soon enough.
