Court: Aborigines have title to Perth Australia

"Very interesting," as Artie Johnson used to say in his German accent on Laugh-In.

A court in Australia has ruled that one of the country's largest cities, Perth, is owned by the Aborigines:

John Howard, the Australian prime minister, has expressed "considerable concern" after a surprise federal court decision granted Aborigines a title claim over one of Australia's major cities, Perth.
Imagine what would happen here if a court ruled that Seattle, say, or my home in northern New Jersey was owned by the native Americans.

In the interest of protecting my own largely white ass (only one part in 1000 native-American), no further comment.
