Latest Republican Tactic: Pretend you're a Democrat

Michael S. Steele is the Republican candidate for Senator and is currently Lte. Governor.

These are bumper stickers and placards being placed in, presumably, Democratic neighborhoods.

Does something like "wolf in sheep's clothing" come to mind?
