Gore preferred

Kos is currently running a poll to see which Democrats are preferred for the presidential race in 2008. The first poll doesn't include Al Gore, since he's said he's not running. However, Markos put up a second poll including Gore's name, along with eleven other candidates. The last I looked, Gore had 626 of the 1095 votes cast. That's almost 60%! In descending order, the next few were Obama (164), Clark (139), Edwards (107), Clinton (20).

Now, I'm not stupid enough to believe that Kos readers are a representative cross section of the party, but I'm both surprised and heartened by this outcome.
