2008 Presidential Elections
You may have noticed that I haven't blogged too much about the various 2008 presidential candidates. Frankly, in my view it's just too early to worry about that stuff. We'll all be sick of it by Nov. 2008. Furthermore, lots and lots of things can happen between now and then. Back at the end of the first Gulf War, I thought George H.W. Bush was an absolute shoo-in for a second term. I was by no means alone in this. His poll ratings were very high, and he was riding on the cusp of a tremendous victory in Kuwait. Most pundits said he was a shoo-in. What a difference one year can make.
So, I just don't think there's that much to say right now.

Seriously, I'm with you. It seems like the mass(ive) media courage is actually a way to make us sick of hearing it so that we tune it out as they pick our next leader while we are looking elsewhere for relief from the mass(ive) media courage...and so on.
