Who does this sound like?

I looked General Petraeus in the eye and said is that sufficient for you to do the job? He assured me he thought it was and that he had been told if he needed more, he would receive them. I have great confidence in General Petraeus.

If you'd asked me, I would have said King George the Wth. After all, he's the one who has said so many times (Putin, al-Maliki, etc.) things like, "I looked him in the eye and saw he had a good soul." But no, it's not Bush. It's Saint John McCain sounding like he's Bush.
