Apologies

Sorry for the light blogging yesterday. I got involved -- deeply and frustratingly involved -- in the intricacies of the alternative minimum tax. After several hours of filling out the AMT form, I learned in the end that I didn't owe any. That's a nice feeling, I guess, but I could have done without the form filling while in a state of panic over how bad it might be.
