It's not always the media's fault

Ezra Klein at Tapped criticizes the media for shoddy coverage of Sen. Edwards' health care proposals. I'm often ready to blame the media for its problems, but I'm sorry, in this case I think the fault lies with Edwards. As I blogged yesterday, I think the proposal is unduly complicated and unclearly explained. I read the entire pdf document twice, and I still don't fully understand the proposal. No, the media didn't explain it clearly either, but who's fault is that?
