What the hell is she frightened of?

Senator Feinstein couldn't bring herself to call for Gonzales' resignation.

QUESTION: Senator Feinstein, do you agree with Senator Schumer that Mr. Gonzales should step down?

FEINSTEIN: Well, I have a slightly different view.

FEINSTEIN: I believe we ought to finish our investigation. We ought to finish our hearings. We ought to do our due diligence. And then, if that's part of the findings, that one or all of us make, that's one thing to lay forward.

I'm more reserved, in general, than my colleague over here is.

I'm afraid the Dems are living up to the image of them painted by the Thuglicans. Weak, divided, frightened.

I have to go with the due diligence process. Yes, the Republicans would not care, but the answer is to tar them with it, not go tit-for-tat.

I think we know far more than we need to know. This is exactly why the press has been unwilling to tell this story. They keep saying, "We'll wait till something telling comes out." It's the GD press' responsibility to find out what the details are.

By now, we know far more of the details than the press would have ever brought out. Why? Because of Josh Marshall and Talking Points Memo.

The press be damned. Due diligence be damned if it delays the expungment of this administration. We already know far more than enough to indict every leader in this government for war crimes and crimes against humanity. They should all be tried. I'll wait till the trials to see if the evidence convicts.
