I try to stay on the high plane established by Walldon, ChiTom and other contributors to this blog, but I had a flash about the neo-conservatives. Someone recently described William Kristol, he of the permanent smarmy smile who is the Editor of the right-wing Weekly Standard and shows up a lot on Fox News, as someone who never saw a war he didn’t like – as long as it was other poor schlubs from the rural South who had to fight in it, of course. If Ralph Waldo Emerson had thought of people like Kristol, the famous saying would have been
Actually, I would contend that the truth and tragic seriousness of that observation elevates it to a level of propriety that our customary squeamishness about the organs of procreation would deny. These are the people who are controlling what this country does with, or to, the rest of the world -- and what goes around comes around.

KISSweb-- obscenity, in my humble opinion, is not primarily a matter of words. Liking unnecessary wars with callous disregard for who fights or dies or suffers: that is obscene.
Kristol may not know or use any Anglo-Saxon, but that will not make him decent. Since people like him seem mostly animated by some sort of political-macho creed, "little dicks" sounds about right.
