Mission Accomplished Day

I wasn't going to write about the new "Mission Accomplished" holiday we are celebrating today until I learned that George Bush of the tin ear has chosen today as the day to veto the Iraq spending bill.

I suppose it only makes sense that, if the war is over and the mission accomplished, he won't need funds for the troops in Iraq. So, be it.
