My dog's better than your dog

George Bush is going to veto any bill that doesn't give him everything he wants exactly when he wants it. This is coming down to a test of power. Bush wants to prove that Congress is weak and he is strong. Who knows what Congress wants to do. I'm afraid the Dems are just going to turn tail and run. They seem to be frightened by their own shadows.

WASHINGTON - The White House threatened on Wednesday to veto a proposed House bill that would pay for the war only through July — a limit Defense Secretary Robert Gates warned would be disastrous.
