Laughing at the Democrats as they merrily go along their way

Kagro X at Daily Kos has an unpleasant observation -- that the Libby pardon is a sign of things to come in the subpoena battles that are looming on the horizon. Congress finds Administration figures in contempt of Congress and asks the DOJ to prosecute. DOJ agrees to prosecute, but Bush hands a "get out of jail free" card to all the targets. The prosecution drags on and on, and, in the end, everyone goes free laughing at the Democrats as they merrily go along their way.
