More lead please

Kevin Drum informs us that now that we have just begun to rid ourselves of the harmful effects of leaded paint and leaded gasoline on our children and environment, the Bush administration is talking about relaxing the regulations on lead.

What possible argument by any sane being could possibly support this?

I guess the key word there is "sane."
