Murderers write report exonerating themselves

Guess who wrote the preliminary report of the State Department's investigation of allegations against Blackwater. It was sub-contracted out to Blackwater itself.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A Blackwater contractor wrote an initial U.S. government report about how his colleagues killed Iraqi civilians in a September shooting that strained U.S.-Iraqi relations, government and industry sources told CNN.

Now, this makes good sense to me. After all, who could know better what happened during the murders than the murderers themselves? Why not let them conduct the investigation into their murderous behavior?
