Edwards to be Obama's AG?

Informed (maybe badly informed) rumor has it that Obama intends to appoint Edwards as Attorney General if he wins the presidency. The more I think about it, the more I think that would be a great place for Edwards, given that his cause for the presidency is lost. It would get the civil rights division back into action, undo all the crap that Ashcroft, Gonzales & Co. have created, bring a bunch of people (like Bush/Cheney) to trial (maybe). Jeese, go for it.
