McCain from Arizona crushed in Nevada: did you know that?

Want more evidence of the inappropriate love affair the mainstream media have with John McCain? In Nevada, McCain finished in a distant third place behind Ron Paul, with all of 13% of the vote. Remember how many reporters made a big deal during the Iowa primary out of how much Obama would be helped by being from a neighboring state? Somehow, though, the concept disappeared from the press coverage for McCain, requiring people to put two-and-two together on their own. Arizona is a neighboring state to Nevada, and yet McCain got crushed. Granted, Romney as a Mormon probably had the upper hand anyway in a heavily Mormon state. But 13%??? Beat by Ron Paul??? In a state right next door. Where were all the “worse-than-expected” stories about McCain? You know what though? There is no doubt some spin to discount the importance of that terrible performance, but the reporters who don't take too kindly to criticism will be the most ardent spinners.(And what is it the people from a neighboring state know about him that we aren’t being told?)
