60% in the bottom tax bracket cuts: Obama=$2500; McCain=$450

Obama and McCain Tax Proposals
According to a new analysis by the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain are both proposing tax plans that would result in average tax cuts of $2500 for the three lowest tax brackets composing 60% of American families (those who make the least) while McCain would give them an average tax cut of $450 (about $2050 less on average) and give the largest cuts to the very wealthy (top bracket).
