Habeus Corpus

Just a quick note from my out of town location. I note with chagrin that the Senate, with some idiot Dems (e.g., Lieberman) supporting it, passed a bill that okays the permanent holding of persons at Gitmo without trial. What a travesty! We won our rights in 1066, have kept them for almost a millenium, and now the Bush administration, together with these idiots from the Dems, overturns them in less than 5 years. Sickening.

Update: I goofed. The Magna Carta was signed in 1215, not 1066. 1066, of course, was the date of the Norman Invasion. Bye, bye.
