Abramoff Cops a Plea

Jack Abramoff signed off on his plea deal with Federal prosecutors today and agreed to cooperate in their continuing investigation of up to twenty members of Congress.

Watch out for the spin meisters who will be saying that there are both Democrats and Republicans at risk here. True, there may be a Democrat or two caught in this net, but this is primarily a story of Republican corruption. And, Tom DeLay and Bob Ney (R-OH) are right at the heart of it from what I can tell.
