21 does not equal 6, please tell the press.

Please explain to me why it is that even though the fact that the Dubai Ports deal involves not just six but 21 US ports came to light at least two days ago, the press continues to refer to the deal as a six port deal? Last night, BBC World was still referring to it as a six port deal. Today, the LA Times refers to it as a six port deal. CNN continues to talk of the six ports. It just goes on and on. Don't these people even read the newspapers they write? I don't get it. If I can learn about it two days ago, without the advantage of having a Lexis/Nexis account, you'd think they could have figured it out by now, wouldn't you?
