End of the New York Times?

Various accounts I've seen estimate that as many as fifteen to twenty New York Times' reporters and editors are connected in one way or another to the NSA surveillance story. The Bush Administration, under the fearless leadership of its Attorney General, Ablerto Gonzales, is seeking to determine the source of the leaks that led to that story, presumably to prosecute them all for terrorism. Obviously, they are going to try to force the reporters to talk by threatening them with contempt of court citations (recall Judy Miller), if they don't actually attempt to convict the reporters themselves of something.

Question: What happens when all of the NY Times' reporters and editors are in jail?

Answer: The NY Times ceases to exist.

The White House will really love that. Message to all other news media if you didn't get it already. Don't report any bad things about the White House. They'll get you.
