The Embodiment of the State

The reporter from CNN reports that Scotty (McClelland)was trying to distinguish between a harmful leak and one that serves the public interest. Apparently a harmful leak is one that harms the Bush administration and a leak that serves the public interest is one that helps the Bush administration. Good to know.

The problem is they really believe this is because they think they are the public interest, they are the embodiment of the state. As Louis XIV said, "L'état c'est moi."
