Hastert opposes Gen. Hayden

Roll Call is reporting that Dennis Hastert has come out against Gen. Hayden's nomination to be head of the C.I.A. Raw Story tells us that Pat Roberts, Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, is also waffling on the nomination.

This is beginning to look like the Harriet Miers nomination. Hopefully, it will actually go to hearings, unlike Harriet's, so he can be chewed up into little pieces and then spat out. It may be a great opportunity to really bring the NSA spying incident to the fore.

I've been trying to blog this for a couple of hours, but Blogger's been really sick today.
