A rant against NJ Democrats

Finally, one of my senators (Frank Lautenberg) does something other than crusade against smoking in restaurants.

In light of reports that CIA Agent Valerie Plame was working to track Iran’s effort to obtain nuclear weapons when her identity was leaked, U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) today called on CIA Director Porter Goss to provide an assessment of the damage to national security from the incident, RAW STORY has learned.

Unfortunately, if he thinks Porter Goss is going to do anything, he's pretty clueless.

I don't know why, but our three Democratic senators from NJ (Lautenberg, Corzine, and now Menendez) have done next to nothing as they watch this government destroy our democracy. All of them seem to be typical, inside the beltway Democrats, unwilling to talk about anything except local politics. Corzine wanted the government to do more to force the chemical companies to protect their plants from terrorism, but he didn't do much and didn't get anywhere. Lautenberg has spent most of his time on public smoking and Meghan's law issues. Menendez hasn't been there long enough to do anything, but he didn't do much when he was in the House either.
