The twisted logic of the Rethuglicans

As you are probably aware, the Iraqi prime minister has proposed giving amnesty to Iraqis now in prison for murder as long as they only killed American troops.

According to a friend of John Avarosis (of Americablog), the Republicans in the Senate were defending this step today. I'll try to confirm the quotations before I post them here, but you can see them at Americablog.

Meanwhile, of course, most of these same idiots are dead set against granting amnesty to illegal aliens in America whose only crime is to have crossed the border without a visa.
