It's all about oil after all

Bush in his news conference today:

"Imagine an enemy that doesn't believe in what we believe in getting ahold of oil resources."

He also says the bogey-men are coming to get us again and that Colin Powell is unacceptable.

He got pretty angry at one point when one reporter said, "Mr. President, how would you feel if a country like Iran captured our soldiers, put them in a secret detention center, water boarded them and used other coercive techniques to get confessions, tried them in secret tribunals where they had no right to see the evidence against them, convicted them, and hung them?"

His answer: he wants everybody else to adopt the same standards he is proposing for Common Article 3.
