The Bush presser

I think I agree with Josh Marshall. This last press conference Bush just finished had to be a political disaster for him. He made next to no sense at all, bobbed and weaved and dodged, used some unusual words like kinetic to describe what's obviously a disaster in Iraq, and couldn't come up with any kind of an answer to the question why he thinks the current six party approach to Korea is working when, in fact, it hasn't worked.

I know Rove thinks he has to keep Bush out in front of the people if the Thuglicans are going to win, but when you have him out there looking like a buffoon, I suspect it will backfire.

Meanwhile, there was one moment when Bush said something about having made the hard decision. It was in the context of the Middle East, and it sure sounded as if he was talking about Iran. I found it rather ominous.
