Drip, drip, drip

Josh Marshall has some juicy new tidbits on the Foley scandal. First, Denny Hastert's chief of staff, Scott Palmer, denies that Kirk Fordham warned him about Foley. Now, another staff member supports Fordham's story. Second, and perhaps even juicier, Jeff Trandahl, the former House Clerk, and John Shimkus (R-IL) had a sit-down with Foley to discuss his inappropriate interest in the pages back in late 2005. Shortly after that, Jeff Trandahl left his post under unusual and unexplained circumstances. Retribution? And, if so, how high up did the axe fall from?
