I'll say whatever is convenient at the moment

Just how many stories is the press going to allow John Boehner (R-OH) to have? First, he said he told Hastert about Foley, then he said he couldn't remember whether he had or not, then he said he was sure he had not, then he said he wasn't sure, and now he says he did. Whatever seems to help at the moment, I guess.

It's beginning to look as though Hastert is red meat being thrown to the sharks.
