Let's not play to the "crazy fringe lefties" playbook

You know, I despise the Rethuglicans as much as anyone, and I can certainly sympathize with the demonstrators who, upon seeing Jeb Bush, chased him around and finally forced him to hide in a broom closet in a Pittsburgh station. Unfortunately, this is just the kind of antic that will cause us to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. I don't like it, and I don't think most sober Americans (sometimes, though rarely I am) do either. This is crazy kid's stuff, and the less of it we see the better:

PITTSBURGH -- Protesters greeted Florida Gov. Jeb Bush on his way to a campaign event for a Pennsylvania senator, and he briefly took refuge in a subway station supply closet to avoid the anti-Republican demonstrators.

This is all spin! He made a wrong turn, and got lost, then couldn't find his way out of the closet, and when someone yelled "Mr. Bush, come out of the closet," it all just went to heck...
