New Dow record -- and it only took six years!
Last week we were treated to excited declarations in the media that the Dow-Jones had hit βan all-time high.β A signal that the economy is going great, of course.
Well, I am equally thrilled to announce that every single one of my CDs or other daily compounded interest-bearing accounts that I left to sit and grow β yes, every last one of them β hit an all-time high every single day over the last 6 years or so since the DJIA last hit an all-time high in 2000. A new record every single day, imagine that!
Is it possible to treat voters as terminally stupid any more clearly than this ?
