One Friedman left for Afghanistan?

Atrios has coined the term "Friedman" to define a six-month "window of opportunity" because for years Tom Friedman of the NY Times has been saying words to the effect that "the next six months will tell the tale for Iraq."

Now, we have a new six month "window of opportunity." A new "Friedman:"
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - NATO's top commander in Afghanistan warned on Sunday that a majority of Afghans would likely switch their allegiance to resurgent Taliban militants if their lives show no visible improvements in the next six months.
Given Tom Friedman's accuracy in predicting events in Iraq, I suspect this probably means things are already FUBAR in Afghanistan.
