Unfortunately, along with it will be the inevitable "news" reports, written years ago and recycled each year by understaffed newsrooms, of parking problems at the malls, huge crowds in the stores, women trampled underfoot when Wall-mart stores opened their doors, and the Rovian "retailers say it' s the best season in years."

Go to it you buyers. I've done my shopping, so I'll sit comfortably at home and gloat.
