Bring it on

Mitch McConnell has told the Democrats that they will have to pass all of Bush's judgeships through congress or the Thuglicans will fillibuster everything and shut the Senate down. I say, "bring it on!" Think about the last time the Thuglicans shut the government down. That did them a whole lot of good, didn't it?

Further, nothing of much good is likely to get through anyway, with Bush standing ready to veto Democratic legislation. The best thing that can happen over the next two years is for the Dems to simply stop Bush's momentum.

It's also rather interesting, isn't it, how the Thuglicans distaste for fillibusters has changed now that they're in the minority? The have come to define the word hypocrit.
