Elections should be held on Sundays, not Tuesdays

I'm not the first one to suggest this, but given how many people have to drop out of the long voting lines before they've voted in order to get to work, it's high time we voted on days when most people don't work. Many other countries vote on the weekends. In others, election day is an official holiday. Voting on Tuesdays simply doesn't make sense unless they can fix the problems of long lines -- which they've proved they either can't or don't want to.
