Pentagon influencing election too

Steve Soto tells us that the Pentagon has been covering up the Iraq death statistics for the past few days in order to keep the bad news from the public on the eve of the elections:

Looks like the Pentagon is trying to keep bad news on combat deaths out of competitive races today:

ABC News' Jonathan Greenberger reports: In the last 24 hours alone, the Pentagon has released the names of 10 service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan (an unusually high number for a 24 hour period). All but two of the ten deaths are either from competitive House districts or adjacent to such districts. The ten deaths occurred some time between Oct. 31 and Nov. 5. All press releases went out yesterday or this morning.

So we now know that:

-Eight of the ten deaths could have influenced today's races;
-Some of these deaths took place almost a week ago; but
-The Pentagon sat on the press releases to minimize their effect on the election.

No one should be surprised that this administration is doing this.
