A re-do of the election (Sarasota only)?

You've probably heard about the touch screen voting machines in Sarasota, Florida that lost 18,000 votes in a race that now has the Republican candidate up by fewer than 400 votes. It now looks as though Christine Jannings, the Democrat, is going to file a suit seeking a new election.

Meanwhile, the Sarasota Herald Tribune has conducted a poll finding that 36% of voters couldn't find the race on the voting machines and 62% found that the final summary screen failed to record their vote in that race. I suppose there must be some overlap in those figures. Otherwise, 98% of the voters would have been disenfranchised.
