Disease day

Just in case you weren't aware, today is World's AIDs day.

I'm not especially fond of "disease" days, because I think some diseases often get a lot of attention at the expense of more mundane but more deadly diseases that also need attention (e.g., diabetes & heart disease). However, AIDs is certainly deadly, and it got such a bum rap for so long that I'm willing to recognize a special day for it.
