Harry Reid's "surge"

I've been ruminating abut Harry Reid's support for a troop "surge" in Iraq overnight. Then, this morning I came across Kagro X's post about it at Daily Kos, and I think he/she (?) has it about right. "You surge it, you bought it." If the Dems buy into Bush's idiocy in any way, they will end up owning this war just as much as Bush does.
