A Mystery
Sometimes it's a complete mystery to me how the mainstream media determines what is and what is not newsworthy.
On two occasions in the Libby trial now it has come out that the President is the one who secretly declassified Valerie Plame's identity so that Libby et al could leak her identity to trash her husband. This all at the same time that his high and mightiness was saying that leaks were terrible and that anyone responsible would be fired.
The first occasion when this came out was when the Cheney handwritten note was put in evidence several days ago, and the second was yesterday when Judge Walton actually said it in sidebar discussions with counsel. Yet, I have not seen a single reference to this anywhere in the mainstream media.
What is this? Is it just that by now everyone already knows what a creep we have in the White House, so more evidence of his creepiness is no longer news?
