Coincidence?

Hmmm. Michael Battle, the executive director of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, has resigned just the day before Senate and House hearings on the firing of US Attorneys are to be held. Battle is the guy who called the US Attorneys to tell them they were fired. By all accounts, Battle's resignation is voluntary. But, what's truly unbelievable is that the Department of Justice claims the resignation has nothing to do with the firings.
