Mystery Politics Theater 2007: Hiatt/WaPo on Libby verdict
Y'all have got read this running commentary at Dependable Renegade on Fred Hiatt's recent (Wed., 3/7) WaPo editorial, "The Libby Verdict: The serious consequences of a pointless Washington scandal". Others have noted how bad/weird/out of touch/wrong it is, but WaterTiger's antiphonal takedown is priceless.
(The "Mystery . . . Theater" reference is a decidely lowbrow pleasure of mine: Mystery Science Theater 3000 ran bad, "B"-grade sci-fi movies with a running commentary by movie watchers forced to watch the dreck. "B" movies, meet "B" editorials.)
