Parallel (or maybe orthogonal) Universe
Anyone who can come away for watching Valerie Plame's testimony to the House Committee yesterday with this:
(as Glenn Reynolds did) has got to be living in a different universe.
Plame said the sometimes used the word "covert" and sometimes used the term "undercover" and sometimes used the word "classified" to describe her status at the CIA. She never said she didn't know whether she was "covert." Moreover, she never came close to saying that Wilson outed her. She was asked why she had attended a Democratic meeting at about the time Joe Wilson signed on to John Kerry's campaign, and she testified she gone there to hear her husband's speech. Somehow, without any evidence whatsoever the wingnuts seem to think that Wilson outed her at that meeting.
In fact, she testified that no more than a handful of people knew she even worked at the CIA, much less what her status was there.
It's just mind boggling. But, what else is new?
SO IT WAS JOE WILSON WHO OUTED VALERIE PLAME? And even she didn't know whether she was covert? I can't believe I'm even still blogging about this.

And Reynolds is supposedly a law professor, right? Makes you wonder.
