A clever ploy

Via TPM Muckraker we learn that Pat Leahy has come up with a very clever ploy regarding Monica Goodlings refusal to testify under her fifth amendment rights. Apparently, she's the only Justice Department employee in history to take the fifth and retain her job. So, Leahy has asked whether she is cooperating with the internal Justice Department investigation into the purgegate matters. She is required to do so as an employee. If she is, then she's waived her rights to take the fifth before Congress. If she isn't, she should be fired.
