What does it take to end a career?

Shouldn't this be a career ending event? Last night Orin Hatch said this about Carol Lamb on TV as good reason for Bush to fire her:

She's a former law professor; no prosecutorial experience; and the former campaign manager in Southern California for Clinton.

Wrong!

She was never a professor. She had 15 years experience as a prosecutor before taking the USA job. And, she's a Republican who did not work in the Clinton campaign.

Lies, lies, and more lies.

I guess these Thuglicans have seen lies work for Bush for so long that they don't care how blatant the lie or how easy it is to disprove. Just tell the lie. Your followers will believe it, no matter what proof there is to the contrary. And, the press won't have the guts to confront you with it. So, why not?
