Go after the editorial staff

Digby justifiably takes off on so-called journalists who somehow decide they don't like a candidate and skew their reporting accordingly. It was Gore in 2000, now it seems to be Edwards who for some reason just pisses them off. When the pack attacks, a campaign is essentially over.

What I want to know is why an editor would keep a biased reporter on the beat. Or reporters who have joined the pack with the narratives of the most popular ones. The editors know who they are. Progressives need to start thinking about how to bring enough pressure to bear to get these low-lifes fired -- editors as well as reporters. Demonstrations? Boycotts? Severe pressure on advertisers?
