Kowtowing the Dems

All you have to do is look at today's news to see how the Democrats enabled Bush by failing to keep sending back the Iraq funding bill with deadlines attached. He now knows he can kowtow the weak-kneed Dems into giving him anything he wants, including retroactive immunity for the Telcoms:

WASHINGTON - President Bush said Wednesday that he will not sign a new eavesdropping bill if it does not grant retroactive immunity to U.S. telecommunications companies that helped conduct electronic surveillance without court orders.
